The concept centers on protective privacy and a connection to nature. They are nestled into the slope of a hill, creating a secluded retreat with panoramic views. This approach respects the surrounding environment and provides a tranquil escape from the bustling parts of the island. The design also draws on the tradition of underground architecture, reminiscent of cave houses, where buildings are partially or fully submerged into the earth for thermal insulation and to minimize visual impact on the landscape.
Additionally, the concept's architectural form is inspired by the triangle shape of a boat's sails, giving it a dynamic, nautical feel that connects it to the sea.
