The department is a coordinating subdivision of the Municipal Establishment "Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy" of the Kharkiv Regional Council. The work of the department is focused on the development, expansion and strengthening of academy's international relations authority in the world educational and scientific community .
The aim of Department is coordination of international cooperation with foreign higher educational institutions, scientific institutions, research centers, international and foreign organizations through building a strategic partnership, conclusion of contracts, memorandums of international cooperation; partnership in International Associations and Strategic Networks of Higher Education Institutions; informational and methodological support of international activities; organization and coordination of joint international projects, as well as creating conditions for perspective development and digitalization of the academy's background for further integration into international scientific and educational space.

Organizational and coordinating activities (arrangement of international activities of the Academy, development of methods for its implementation, preparation of contracts (programs) and other documents on the implementation of the Academy’s tasks in the field of international relations; coordination of technical, informational and methodological support of the Academy's international activities; coordination of programs of international academic mobility and internships abroad);
Fundraising activities (search for external sources of financing; establishment of direct contacts between the project executors and representatives of the international funders);
Information activities (benchmarking of the foreign higher education institutions, scientific institutions, research centers, international and foreign organizations in order to optimize the process of the Academy's accession to the world scientific community, to the international associations of higher education institutions and the international networks of education and science);
Advisory activity (implementation of information and methodological support in the sphere of development of international cooperation of the Academy and increase of competitiveness of the employees and students for participation in international projects and programs; consulting assistance at the initial stages of project implementation).
