The colloquium was rather interesting and very educational, I definitely do not regret having attended it. However, I wish there hadn't been so many technical issues. Besides, some of the reports were quite clearly much longer than expected, and that did spoil the general impression a little bit. Yet overall I'm very glad to have been present at the event!

I was a guest in this international colloquium and I chose the section number 4. All the presentations were greatly delivered and I found a lot of necessary information for myself. It was such an honour to listen to the foreign guests and I hope that there will more and more opportunities for the students to take participation in such conferences. I would highlight Tatyana Armenovna Simonyan and Elena Yurievna Frolikova participation and their work that was really captivating. Also, I would praise Darya Olegovna Korotkevich and her comprehensive study!

And, obviously, I really want to thank the coordinators and organisers of this colloquium! It was a pleasure!

I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to attend such a conference and listen to the presentations of researchers on various important topics. All the reports were interesting and informative, I would especially like to highlight the report made by Elena Yurievna Frolikova and Tatiana Armenovna Simonyan. Thanks to this presentation, I learned new idioms. Now I can use them in my speech.

The Colloquium was well organized, the timetable was observed, so the speakers presented their reports. The only thing that sometimes interfered with the perception of information was problems with switching slides, since some researchers could not switch slides, so the information on the screen was different.

The participants had the opportunity to get useful information, ask questions and share opinions. I wish I could have visited all the sections. I express my deep gratitude to the organizers for the Colloquium!

Visiting the International Colloquium “Time and Culture in Linguistic and Literary Discourse” in the MCU Institute of Foreign Languages on the 17th of December was an extremely useful and inspiring experience! In the section which was dedicated to literary studies the relevant topics included American and English literature at the crossroads of language and culture. The researchers touched upon very important and up-to-date issues that are now being discussed all around the world: equality and cultural diversity, which are reflected in the literature of Great Britain and the United States. A wide range of American and British authors was presented to the attention of the audience by the Russian and German researchers: Chuck Palahniuk, Kazuo Ishiguro, Arthur Miller and many other writers. The Colloquium really intend to bring together researchers in linguistics and literary studies to exchange new ideas.

Besides, I would like to point out a very successful organization of the event itself. There was not a single technical problem during the procedure. Hope that next year I will be able to attend this event offline!
