What We Did!
Annual Rotary Dinner: Interact attended the annual dinner hosted by the Rotary club where we made safety kits for Halloween and built our scarecrow for the Hudson Public Library's Scarecrow Walk!
Scarecrow Walk: At the Hudson Public Library, we hosted a craft where kids were able to make their own paper pumpkins and decorate them! Also, we hung up our addition of the Scarecrow Walk, Terrance the Scarecrow!
RECTOBER Fest: At Rectober fest this year, we held a craft station for kids to paint their own mini pumpkins, had a bake sale, and temporary tattoos!
Day of Positivity: To spread positivity, Interact club decorated the entrance building with chalk art. Additionally, we wrote positive sayings and posted them on lockers, in bathroom mirrors, and doors!
Trick or Treat for UNICEF: Interact participated in the annual UNICEF Trick or Treat. Thanks to the Hudson Public Schools, Forest Ave, Mulready, Farley, and Quinn, we were able to make a great amount of money! The money raised goes to countless children around the world to provide clean water, nutrition, medicine, and education.
Veterans Day Parade: This year, Interact was invited to walk in honor of the Veterans in Hudson's Veterans Days Parade. We carried signs with names of local living Veterans who were not able to attend to the parade written on them.
Giving Thanks To Veterans: With Thanksgiving coming up, Interact Club wrote cards to support veterans and their families during the holidays.
Day of Positivity: To help the students with the stress of midterms, Interact posted positive sticky notes throughout the entrance of the school, allowing students to feel that reassurance as they go off to exams.
Trivia Night: We partnered with HHS's Trivia Club to host a trivia night to raise money to help the Chaulk family. Scott Chaulk is a respected member of our community who had suffered from a stroke while travelling to visit his son who was studying abroad in Spain. Thank you to all the teams who participated and congrats to Bills Boys on 1st place.
