Supporting Your Mission!
The inTENtional AI Club is a turnkey partner for institutions seeking to prepare their students for an AI-driven world.
We provide a safe, structured, and nationally supported framework for a student-led program that complements your curriculum and enhances your students' experience, with minimal burden on your resources.
What We Offer You (Our Commitment as a Partner):
A Safe and Structured Environment: We provide a comprehensive framework that includes modular constitution templates and operational guidelines to ensure chapters are run responsibly and effectively. Our first priority is creating safe and supportive environments where students can learn and grow.
Empowered Faculty Support: We don't expect faculty to do this alone. We provide Faculty Advisors with a full support kit, best practices for mentorship, and a direct connection to our national organization, empowering them to guide students effectively.
Alignment with Your Policies: We work collaboratively with you to ensure a chapter's governing documents align with your institution's specific policies on student organizations, data security, and academic integrity.
A Focus on Ethics and Integrity: Our entire program is built on a foundation of using AI ethically to honor human dignity. We provide chapters with educational materials to foster a culture of academic integrity and responsible innovation.
What We Ask of You (The Partnership Model):
Official Recognition: Grant official status to the student-led inTENtional AI Club chapter on your campus.
A Faculty Advisor: Appoint a faculty or staff member to serve as a mentor and liaison for the chapter, supported by our national resources.
A Collaborative Spirit: Work with us to ensure the chapter operates in alignment with your institution's values and policies.
Why Partner With Us?
By hosting a chapter, you are providing your students with a direct pathway to develop the leadership and technical skills needed for the future. You are championing a forward-thinking, ethical approach to technology and establishing your institution as a hub for responsible AI innovation.
Answers you need to know!
Answers you need to know!
We understand that empowering students to lead requires a foundation of trust, security, and clear collaboration. The inTENtional AI Club is designed to be a trusted partner for institutions, providing a structured framework that mitigates risk while maximizing student growth. We don’t ask you to let students operate alone; we ask you to join us in guiding them.
How can we ensure proper oversight if students are 'in charge'?
The Empowered Faculty Advisor: The Faculty (or Staff) Advisor is the cornerstone of our model. This is not a passive role. We provide advisors with a "Faculty Advisor Success Kit," which includes ethical discussion prompts, project management guides, and a direct line to our national team for support. They are equipped to be active mentors and guides.
Structured Governance: Chapters are not unstructured gatherings. They operate under a constitution that we help them develop, which clearly outlines officer roles, responsibilities, and the oversight function of the Faculty Advisor. This creates predictability and accountability.
Shared Visibility: We encourage a transparent relationship between the chapter, the advisor, and the relevant academic department, with simple, periodic updates on club activities and accomplishments.
Will the club encourage students to misuse AI and violate academic integrity?
Proactive Ethical Education: Our entire framework is built on the principle of intentional and ethical use. The "Think" pillar is a core, non-negotiable part of club programming. We provide every chapter with ready-to-use workshop materials on AI ethics, proper citation of AI tools, and the distinction between using AI as a legitimate assistant versus a tool for academic dishonesty.
A Solution, Not a Problem: We position the club as a proactive solution to the challenge of AI in academics. By creating a space for open discussion and guidance, we help you lead the conversation about academic integrity, ensuring students learn to use these powerful tools responsibly and with full transparency. The club becomes your ally in fostering a culture of integrity.
Will student-led projects create security risks or violate our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)?
Policy Alignment Framework: We provide a modular constitution template that is incomplete without a campus-specific annex. We work directly with your office and the Faculty Advisor to ensure this annex incorporates and references your institution's specific AUP, data handling policies, and network security protocols. The club operates within your rules, not in spite of them.
Best Practices as a Standard: Our national platform provides all chapters with standardized resources on best practices, including FERPA-compliant data anonymization checklists for projects and guidance on secure coding. We promote a culture of "security by design."
Risk Mitigation through Partnership: We leverage our national partnerships to provide students with sandboxed cloud environments and API access from tech firms. This channels high-compute or experimental activities away from sensitive campus networks and onto industry-standard platforms designed for this purpose.
Will this club drain our limited IT resources (lab computers, server space, support tickets)?
We Bring Our Own Resources: Our primary goal is to reduce the burden on campus IT. Our national sponsorship deals provide chapters with their own cloud computing credits, AI tool licenses, and access to external platforms. We are a resource provider, not a resource drain.
Centralized Support: The national organization, not the campus helpdesk, is the first line of support for club-specific tools and platforms. Students are directed to our centralized digital hub for project code, templates, and troubleshooting, minimizing the need for campus-level IT support.
