The Intelligent Control and Robotics Laboratory (지능제어 및 로보틱스 연구실) was founded in 1990 with the mission of nurturing innovative students with a global perspective and conducting cutting-edge research in the field of intelligent control and robotics for the benefit of humanity.

Our laboratory places a strong emphasis on maintaining a harmonious balance between academic research and practical industrial applications. Our research focus spans a wide array of specialties, including motion and force control, intelligent robots, multi-axis force sensors, embedded mechatronic systems, advanced control theories, braking control of railway vehicles, and prognostics of railway vehicles.
