Textbook: Bennett, M. 2023. A Brief History of Intelligence: Evolution, AI, and the Five Breakthroughs That Made Our Brains
The course topics will generally follow the book - with additional information from other sources. Feel free to read the entire book once and then review relevant sections as the course progresses.

Enrichment articles are not assigned reading, but are intended to provide additional information for people who have an interest in a particular subject.
Articles of particular relevance will be listed on the week's reading subpage. You may either read the material before the week in question - or read it afterwards - or not read it at all. Any important/interesting material in these articles will be explained in class.
Some weeks will also have links to videos, podcasts, or websites on topics relevant to the weeks concepts.
