Instructions for all activities will be posted here:  both in-class and at-home activities

Activities done in class will be posted within a day or two of the class (so as not to spoil the fun in class!)

Course-long art challenge:   a creative look at an "Intelligent Universe"

"Information" and "intelligence" and "Consciousness" are continuous themes in the course - along with other thought-provoking ideas.  

If you dabble in art, create something responsive to our topics – or share a favorite by someone else.

Due by the end of the course (sooner is better). I will collect images/documents to share with everyone.

Use AI to help with the  Creative Challenge

Write a poem, a song, a passionate (political?) speech, a love letter… Don’t like it?  Make your own modifications.

Submit your “best” AI version – and your edited one, if you wish – at the end of  week 5/beginning of week 6.

Documents below include "AI help with Creative Challenge"  (with links to generative AI sites)  and "ChatGPT prompting advice".          And of course, you can always ask AI for help with your prompts!  

There are also some examples of AI-generated poems  ("Information is foundational_poems by AI")  and an AI-generated song   ("Starlight Dreams_AI song for Craig Snapp")
