Track and Field Camp

Liberty Track & Field and XC Camps are open to any and all entrants. Limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

June 17th-19th, 2024



The Integrity Track Club Track & Field Camp caters to middle and high school students who seek to continue their development as serious track & field athletes. They will receive both group and individualized skill instruction and learn what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.

Day Campers vs. Overnighters

Day campers will have to get breakfast, dinner, and lodging on their own. Lunch will be provided for for day campers. Drop off for day campers will be 11:30 a.m. and pick up for day campers will be 4 p.m.

All meals will be provided for Overnighters + Lodging and evening activities.

*Must register 2 weeks before camp to receive a T-Shirt. 

*Registration closes a week before camp. If you want to register past that time a $50 fee will be charged for re-opening registration.


Sprinters

Sprinters will work with Coach Pete McFadden in developing speed, working on blocks, and technique. He will do video analysis of your form throughout camp. He specializes in everything from 100-800. More about Coach "Pete" can be find on our coaching staff page.

Jumpers


Jumpers will get to work with Coach Venable on developing proper mechanics as well as testing power output. Video analysis and breakdown of form will be down throughout camp with Jumpers as well. More information on Coach "Vinny" can be found on out coaching staff page


Throwers

Throwers will be working with Coach Luke on form as well as positions for throws. He will specialize in all the throws events and be accompanied by very accomplished student helpers.


Pole Vault

Pole Vaulters will get to work with Coach Bingham on technique. Pole Vaulters are advised to bring their own poles for camp if possible. Video Breakdown will be down throughout camp as well. More about Coach Bingham can be found on our Coaching Staff Page.

Distance

If you are a 800-3200 runner and are interested in these dates for camp, please email imwendland@liberty.edu. Coach Isaac works with 800-10,000 meter runner on the Track Team but runs the XC Camp from July 27-31. If there is enough interest for Mid-distance + Distance athletes, then this camp will be opened to distance runners as well. For these dates Coach Isaac will focus on form for distance runners and drills to implement to correct it.
