Frequently Asked Questions

Liberty Track & Field and XC Camps are open to any and all entrants. Limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.


When is the registration deadline?


Our registration deadline is two weeks before the camp you are selecting starts, but registration can close sooner if the camp reaches capacity before that.You'll know if camp capacity is full for the camp you selected because the registration will be closed.


Can I choose a roommate?

Yes. If you have a roommate preference, please email the camp director, Isaac Wendland, at least 10 days before the start of camp at imwendland@liberty.edu.

What should I bring to camp?

-Water bottle

-Running shoes

-Running clothes

-Towel and toiletries

-Bedsheets, pillow, and sleeping bag (twin size bed)

-Swim Suit (one piece for girls)


Do I need to bring money?

No, you do not. All meals and activities are covered in your registration fee. However, you may bring some spending money if desired for the campus bookstore.


Are meals provided?

For Track Camp if you are an overnight camper all of your meals will be provided through the camp. If you are a day camper, only Lunch will be provided.

For Cross Country Camp all of your meals will be provided.



Is there a refund policy

If something comes up and you are unable to attend camp, please email the camp director (imwendland@liberty.edu) a minimum of 7 business days prior to the start of camp for a full refund. If cancellation happens after that time, a 50% refund will be issued. If it is cancelled due to COVID-19 it will be fully refunded.

What is the schedule like for Cross Country Camp?

We will have distance runs each morning on the trails, with an optional second run in the afternoon. The rest of the day will be dedicated to skill instruction, talks and breakout sessions related to distance running, and team bonding activities.
