ABOUT US

Our Vision

Empowered by the Holy Spirit to Be Witnesses in All Nations

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Our vision is founded on the words of Jesus Christ to His disciples before He ascended into heaven. Jesus gave them a promise, a purpose and a mission. This same calling continues today: to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and to carry the message of Jesus Christ to people everywhere.

Meet the Pastors

In 2020, Pastors Ace and Anne answered God’s call to plant a church in Oamaru, moving from Melbourne, Australia, with a vision to see souls saved and lives transformed by the power of God. What began as a small house church with one family has grown into a vibrant, multicultural church family passionate about Jesus, discipleship, and helping people discover their God-given purpose. Today, we remain committed to our vision of being empowered by the Holy Spirit to witness to Oamaru and beyond.

We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith and that there is one true God, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, and the power of the Holy Spirit to equip believers for a life of faith, holiness, and service. We believe the Church is called to worship God, make disciples, share the Gospel, minister to others, and live in the hope of Christ’s return and eternal life.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

FAMILY WEEKEND | HOME CHURCH

With Labour Weekend here, we want to give our church family the opportunity to enjoy a long weekend away, spend quality time with family, or simply rest and recharge.

This Sunday, there will be no usual Sunday service.

Instead, we’re encouraging those staying back to take the opportunity to gather with another family or invite friends over for a time of fellowship, sharing a meal, opening the Word, and praying together.

Just like the early church in Acts 2:42–47, they gathered from house to house, devoted themselves to fellowship, broke bread together, and shared life with glad and sincere hearts

The Church is more than a Sunday gathering, we are a family growing together in faith!

Whether you’re heading away or staying home, we pray you have a blessed and refreshing Labour Weekend!

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer...They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” Acts 2:42;46

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

We are privileged and honoured to welcome Prophet Peter Kumar to Inspired Faith Church next month as he shares the Word of God with us. We’re believing for a powerful time in God’s presence as we gather to receive His Word and be encouraged in our faith.

Save the date, invite your family and friends, and come expectant for what God has in store!
