Overview

As an Officer you will be expected to lead the regiment when there is no command on, you must watch over the members under you, you may still host and lead activities but let the NCOs take priority. The Promotion Guidelines are at the bottom of the document

Meeting

Now that you are an Officer you may attend the Command Meeting hosted every Saturday at 6PM EST, it is not mandatory. You must still attend the Inquisitorius Meeting on Saturday at 5PM EST. If you are unable to make it to the meeting you must fill out a meeting excuse.

Flag Ups

One of an officer's main duties is doing flag ups. flag ups are announcements in the iq-announcements channel that officers can do to promote activity in the regiment. To do a flag up you need announcement access, if you do not have the role please request it. The command you need to do an announcement is !feed announce inquisitorius [message] the command is pinned in iq-officer-chat as well. 

Tryouts

NCO Trials (Master+)

As an Officer you can now host lord trials for apprentices, your first tryout will need to be watched by an Overseer+ to ensure you are doing it right. The document will be pinned in the Officer channel in the discord, The trainee(s) must be Apprentice III to go through with the trials.

Officer Training (Overlord+)

As an Overlord you can now host Master trials for Lords, you are a very trusted member of our ranks, and you will not need to be watched by command if you do not want to. The document will be pinned in the Officer channel in the discord, These trials are given after a Lord has been promoted to Master to teach them their new responsibilities.

Strikes

As well as hosting lord trials you may now give strikes to troopers that are insubordinate and breaking the rules of the regiment and or server. Always bring up if you are striking someone with a Overseer+. If you believe someone deserves to skip strikes (straight to strike 2 for example) then you MUST bring it up with Command, the Strikes are as follows:

Strike 1: Verbal warning and a promotion suspension of an extended 3 days.

Strike 2: Lord+ will result in a demotion and a DNP of 4 days. Apprentices will be suspended for 5+ days.

Strike 3: Demotion straight to Initiate and starting all over again with training, trials etc. However, the waiting requirements will be longer.

Strike 4: Rank lock on Initiate/DNT, can only be appealed by contacting VCMDR+.

If you are caught abusing this power you will be demoted

Promotions should ideally occur in separate debriefs after events

All promotions must be logged in the Discord by the promotee

Your Promotions

There is no set quota, and you are not limited to only contributing what is specified on this document, so long as your efforts are witnessed by or relayed to a higher-up

Once you achieve the rank of Master, although there is no quota you will be expected to contribute in other ways to the regiment

Your promotions will be based on your activity, your general behavior and attitude, as well as how interactive you are with the regiment
