In the last four years, the professional development centre has accomplished the training considering specific indications of the Ministery of Education, such as the development of digital skills for teachers, inclusion and diversity, the mathematics educational plan and also student assessment.
In addition to the training organisation, the center has promoted other initiatives that fall under the consideration and discussion of ideas, such as pedagogical workshops and thematic meetings such as some related to school libraries.
The organisation also belongs to a centres network, based on partnerships and collaborative work established through protocols with other training centers, such as the "Network of Centers Between the Tagus and Sado", which covers all of the Setúbal Península. There were also protocols signed with local authorities, with higher education institutions, and with other local, regional and national entities.
