Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Google site for the project: Using CHEMISTRY/PHYSICS to Drive Action on Sustainable Development Goals Through Project-Based Learning.

This site will serve as a central resource for the project and provide you with the necessary information and support to guide you and your group through each step of the process. At the heart of this project are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - global issues developed by the United Nations to ensure an equal distribution of the world's resources in a fair and just manner and a commitment to address environmental concerns such as climate, land and oceans that pose a serious threat to the habitability and sustainability of this planet.

Given this, I am sure that there might be some level of confusion as to the relevance of the SDGs to the Chemistry/Physics topics, and concepts discussed in class. You will find the answers to all of these questions in the sections below and, if new questions arise at any point along the way, you will have opportunities to ask questions as we embark on a project that is about more than just making a grade in Chemistry/Physics...it is about making a difference in the world!
