Our landmark study demonstrated that β-carotene directly binds to NLRP3 and inhibits its activation (Arthritis & Rheumatology, 2020; highlighted in Nature Reviews Rheumatology).

We continue to identify novel natural product-derived NLRP3 inhibitors using structure-based approaches.
