Lisa went into a small local cafe to warm up and buy coffee on a cold, snowy day. When she was going to tell the barista at the cafe about his order, she realized that the barista was her ex-boyfriend. They were very surprised and they had changed a lot. They had grown up, they had matured. They already lost the feelings, but sometimes the opposite. The barista bought the girl a coffee. He thought that maybe this way they could be together again.
Lisa wasn’t willing to go into this situation and didn’t drink the coffee that the boy had bought. When he saw this, he was upset and offered to go to another cafe to talk some more. Because he lived in the area, the girl’s feelings were also mixed, but she accepted this offer. She didn’t know what to do either. They went to another cafe and decided to talk about old topics and their old relationship.
As the issues were discussed, it turned out that both of them were wrong and whether they wanted it or not, they found themselves in a new fight. From the outside, they looked funny and ridiculous. Even when there was a fight between them, the feeling of the two of them towards each other was still obvious, while the fight was getting more violent. The boy suddenly kissed the girl.
The boy was happy but the girl was shocked. After the shock and surprise, the girl’s blood pressure dropped and she fainted. It wasn’t the first time, but the boy was panicking a lot. They immediately brought her to the hospital. When they arrived at the hospital, she had been checked up and a prescription was written. When the girl opened her eyes and saw her ex-boyfriend next to her,she felt very happy and safe. She realized she still had feelings for him. He was the right person for her life. Her heart raced and she got excited again. When she saw him just like in the beginning, she didn’t know what to do. She also owed him a “thank you.”
The next day she was discharged from the hospital and a day or two later she texted him to grab a coffee. He accepted the offer. They went back to the cafe they talked about recently. She ordered her usual vanilla hazelnut latte again. The latte tasted different now, more delicious and pleasant. Because she was with the boy she loved and the answer, just like in the old days. She wasn’t sure if the boy had feelings for her. But even that made her happy. The boy was also interested in her. But he couldn’t be warm and open right away because he was afraid of making the same mistakes again.
While drinking coffee, they talked about a topic they had disagreed on in their past relationships. Inevitably, the tension between them. Even though they wanted to tone the topic, the boys realized they wouldn’t be able to come together again. He honestly explained this to the girl and after finishing his coffee, he got up, with a very serious and firm tone, he told her that they couldn’t be together again, and he left. The girl felt terrible and realized that everything had come to an end.
Days, months, and years passed. She searched for him everywhere but couldn’t find him. She was madly in love, but the boy was nowhere to be found.
Years later, news of her death came unexpectedly. The boy she had been searching for all those years came to the funeral. He was deeply saddened.
Carrying her love inside. He had been hiding from her because he was afraid. Not long after consumed by his love and attachment to her. And he died with her love.
