Infinite Lights Ensemble
Background
Infinite Lights Ensemble is the brainchild of Ken Corneille who serves as Musical Director and keyboardist. Ken is a prolific composer who is well versed in both Jewish and Christian liturgy. His passion for this work is evident as everything the Ensemble plays has been imagined and composed by Ken. He knows exactly how to capture the best of each instrument and musician. He gathered an eclectic ensemble consisting of soprano voice, flutes, clarinet, tenor saxophone, acoustic guitar, bass, keyboard, and percussion. The group collaborates to create their unusual sound.
The musicians, who come from varied musical backgrounds including classical, blues and jazz, are dedicated to their craft and to presenting Jewish Liturgical music in a whole new way in order to evoke powerful emotion, genuine soul, and meaningful connections with audiences. Each member of the Ensemble strives to create a clean, fresh sound that allows the music to speak for itself. It is difficult to get so many busy people together, so everyone comes to rehearsals well-prepared and ready to collaborate. The results have been stunning.
The future of Infinite Lights Ensemble looks bright. There is no doubt that their unique sound, musicianship, and dedication to connecting with audiences will inspire others to connect with Jewish Liturgical music in whole new ways.
