Working Groups

The community facilitators take care of INDUS as a community, moderates discussions, coordinate activities, and facilitates meaningful interactions, ensuring all members feel empowered, supported, and engaged in our community's endeavors.

The Website Building working group is responsible for creating and maintaining the official INDUS website. They ensure that the website is user-friendly, informative, and visually appealing, providing a hub for the latest news, updates, and resources related to solar physics and the group's activities.

The Newsletter working group curates and designs the INDUS newsletter, which serves as a comprehensive source of information for members. This team compiles updates on recent research, member achievements, upcoming events, and other relevant news to keep the community informed and connected.

The Resource Management team is dedicated to curating and organizing valuable resources related to solar physics research and education. They compile a repository of scientific papers, software tools, and educational materials, making them readily accessible to all INDUS members.

The Science working group arranges engaging and insightful seminars and webinars on various solar physics topics. They also carefully curate the nuggets written by INDUS members and also help in disseminating knowledge of  solar physics to a broader audience.

The Social Media working group handles the group's presence on various social media platforms. They create engaging posts, share exciting solar physics content, and promote INDUS events, attracting new members and fostering a sense of community within the broader solar physics network.

The Buddy Scheme team pairs new members with experienced members, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for those joining the group. Buddies offer assistance, answer questions, and provide guidance, ensuring a smooth integration into the INDUS community.
