Action by action, day by day, and group by group, Indivisible CA27 is working to strengthen our democracy.
United by a commitment to resist authoritarianism and uphold democratic values, our chapter is part of a nationwide movement of engaged citizens taking action to protect civil liberties, advance progressive policies, and hold our leaders accountable. We are a diverse community of activists who believe in grassroots power and the impact of local organizing.
We call. We show up. We talk to our neighbors. We mobilize. Through our collective efforts, we are building a movement rooted in our local values—one that fosters lasting political influence and empowers people to create change in their own communities.
Indivisible CA27 was founded in response to rising threats against democracy, equality, and civil rights. We recognize that these challenges didn’t begin with Trump, nor will they end with him. The erosion of democratic norms, the consolidation of power by the wealthy and well-connected, and attacks on fundamental freedoms have long been systemic issues in our country.
We believe in a democracy that serves everyone, not just the privileged few. By coming together as an engaged and informed community, we are working to build a government that is truly of, by, and for the people—one that reflects the diversity, voices, and needs of all.
