What is ITOSS?

ITOSS is a free database provided by the Indiana Department of Health to local health departments for tracking on-site sewage system construction, operating permits, and complaints. The database is designed to follow the permitting process from application to final inspection. ITOSS can also accept attachments such as pictures, reports, plans, and more to incorporate all pertinent documents.

ITOSS is housed in the Gateway application in Access Indiana (Access Indiana: Home).  Anyone can easily sign up for a free Access Indiana account from the linked homepage. Local health department staff wishing to utilize ITOSS may request access to ITOSS in the Gateway application.
