Beginning April 1, 2026, first-time active members receive the following:
Year 1: 50% OFF state and national dues.*
Year 2: 25% OFF state and national dues.*
Year 3: Full Dues
*First-time members or returning public school staff receive $0 dues until September. New members qualify for reduced dues for two years. The reduced dues structure is 50% off state and national dues in year one, 25% off state and national dues in year two, and full dues in year three. Returning members who were not members during the 2024-25 or 2025-26 membership years (two full years) also qualify for the reduced dues program. Early enrollees are not eligible for NEA Legal Services until September 1, 2026, when their full active membership dues commence.
