Leave (Personal and Sick)
The district’s policies regarding leave may be accessed on the district website or on our resource page. Permission for personal leave is handled at each individual school’s discretion. If you have extenuating circumstances regarding your leave, please reach out to your building principal to clarify your situation. If additional help is needed beyond your building principal, please contact Dr. Anthony Robinson Director of Human Resources for the ISD.

Your principal may request a meeting with you. If it is the second meeting on the same topic, or if the meeting is disciplinary, you may have a 3rd party representative present. A third party representative can be anyone who is employed by the district or MNEA. We encourage you to reach out to your building representatives to serve as your 3rd party representatives. You may also reach out to a member of our INEA Executive Board if you feel you need either our Uniserv director or an INEA Executive Board member present.
