By using In Altum you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the app.
These terms sit alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your purchase itself. Where this page covers something Apple's agreement doesn't — what the app is for, and how to use it safely — this page applies.
What In Altum is
In Altum composes hypnosis sessions on your device for relaxation and self-help. It is a self-help tool. It is not healthcare.
What In Altum is not
In Altum is not a substitute for medical or psychological care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and no part of it should be understood as clinical advice or as a therapeutic relationship with anyone.
If something in your life needs a clinician, please see one. This app is not that, and was never meant to be. Nothing in it should be used to delay or replace seeking help.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country now. This app cannot help with that and does not try to.
Safety
Read this part properly. It's short.
Never use a session while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything else that requires your attention. Sessions are designed to reduce alertness. Use them somewhere you are seated or lying down and can safely stay that way.
Please talk to a doctor before using hypnosis sessions if you:
- have epilepsy or a seizure disorder;
- have been diagnosed with psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or a dissociative disorder;
- are under the care of a clinician for a mental health condition;
- are pregnant and have any concern about deep relaxation;
- are unsure for any other reason.
Stop a session at any time if you feel distressed, disoriented or unwell. You can leave a session whenever you want, and nothing is lost by doing so.
Grounding exercises in the app are brief breathing and orienting exercises. They are not a medical intervention and are not a treatment for panic, anxiety or any other condition.
Age
In Altum is intended for adults. Don't use it if you are under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your responsibility
You use In Altum at your own discretion and are responsible for judging whether it is appropriate for you, and for the setting you use it in.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are made through Apple and handled entirely by the App Store.
- Prices are shown in your own currency before you buy, on the purchase screen in the app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You are charged through your Apple Account when a renewal is confirmed.
- Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
- Lifetime access is a single payment. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Restoring purchases: use the Restore button on the purchase screen. Your purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to an account with us.
- Free features stay free. Grounding, and the intents listed as free in the app, do not require payment and do not expire.
If a feature described at the time of your purchase is later removed, we'll say so clearly in the App Store release notes rather than change it quietly.
Content and intellectual property
All session text, voice recordings, sound design and software in In Altum are owned by Mykola Viunyk. You may use them personally within the app. You may not record, extract, copy, redistribute, publish or use them in your own practice or product without written permission.
Availability
In Altum is provided as it is. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change between versions. The app works offline by design; there is no service of ours that can go down.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mykola Viunyk is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of In Altum. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
