Patching the game files (PSN Version)
Note 1: this assumes you have already downloaded the patch files onto your computer and put them all into OFA_eng. If you haven't yet done so, go to this part of the tutorial.
Note 2: If you are using the emulator RPCS3 instead of a PS3, then look inside the folder where you installed RPCS3 whenever the guide tells you a folder on the PS3.
1. You will need a .rap file for the game as well, which should have the name JP0700-NPJB00611_00-0000000000000000.rap. This .rap file is needed to decrypt the game files.
2. Place this .rap file into OFA_eng.
3. Your folder should now look like the picture below. Make sure the names of all the files and folders match exactly, otherwise the scripts won’t work.
4. If you haven't downloaded & installed the game onto your PS3 yet, do so now. Also, if you have an update for the game, install it if you haven't already. You can download the package for the 1.07 update for the game from the PlayStation servers using this link.
5. Next, in the folder dev_hdd0/game/NPJB00611/USRDIR on your PS3, you should find the following 2 files:
ofa.arc.edat
ofa.bin.edat
If you have the 1.07 update for the game installed, you should also find the following 2 files:
_patch.arc.edat
_patch.bin.edat
6. Copy all these files to OFA_eng/original.
7. Now run patch_main_psn.bat by double-clicking it. This should produce patched versions of the files, in OFA_eng/patched.
8. Copy the files in OFA_eng/patched back over to dev_hdd0/game/NPJB00611/USRDIR, replacing the original files.
Next step
