Mori no Miyako which means “the City of Trees” is a nickname of Sendai city. It is a beautiful city with many trees on several street. Unfortunately, the meeting will be held in the winter but you can also enjoy beautiful winter scenery or winter sports in Tohoku area if you go to the mountain side by train or buses.
Sendai is a city located in Tohoku (north east) area in japan and is a largest city in this area. It takes less than 2 hour by a bullet train (Shinkansen) from Tokyo. You can also reach here by airplane using Sendai airport.
