About

Scope and purpose of the workshop

From the dawn of synchrotron light source, material science and synchrotron science have close collaborations. With the advent of synchrotron light source, new techniques such as angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, core-level spectroscopy were appeared and applied to investigate many important and interesting phenomenon. Here we will hold the kickoff meeting for synergetic collaboration between material and synchrotron science through IMR+MAX IV joint research to be a cradle for developing new method and technique of synchrotron science.

It is our great pleasure to announce the call for the international workshop for synergetic collaboration between material and synchrotron science through IMR-MAX IV joint research, MAX IV+IMR, at Sendai, Japan.

See you on January 2020.
