Maria is a first year undergraduate student at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is very hard-working and committed students that comes from a Latin American family background.

Being part of UNC, Maria has got a busy schedule but still finds time to participate in entrepreneurial workshops and events on campus. She considers herself outgoing and vocal about social cause and has a big dream to start her own social entrepreneurship venture.

However, she assumes that there are specific problems that she may face as a minority, during the process of pursuing her passion project and doesn't feel ready to begin it.
