Welcome to Intelligent Multibody Dynamics Laboratory (IMBD Lab) in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Chungnam National University. Our research focuses on the development of more accurate and efficient computational analysis techniques based on multibody dynamics (MBD) for modeling and simulation of mechatronic systems. We conduct research on data-driven and theoretical analysis techniques, including developing simulation models that accurately replicate physical systems, meta-modeling using machine learning techniques for digital twins and real-time control, and the reduced-order modeling of flexible bodies for efficient simulations.
