Call for Papers

Tomorrow's Mathematicians Today

an Undergraduate Mathematics Conference supported by the IMA

Online, University of Greenwich, 6-7 March 2021

Tomorrow's Mathematicians Today is a conference where undergraduate mathematicians present to their peers mathematics which has excited them, and where delegates are inspired by the mathematical enthusiasms of fellow undergraduates. Examples might be material in their curriculum, project work or topics they have come across in outside reading.

Presenters will be able to gain valuable experience and insights into the world of conferences. This should be a wonderfully enjoyable day of inspiring maths.

The call for papers has now closed. We will be in touch with those who have submitted abstracts shortly.

There will be a prize for the best student paper, which is sponsored by GCHQ. If you wish to be considered for this prize, you should submit an application (before 1pm on Friday 5 February) in addition to your abstract. For the prize criteria and details of how to apply see this page.

Successful abstracts will be published on this website along with the name and university of the speaker. The conference website will remain after the event as a record of the conference. By submitting an abstract you are indicating that you consent to this publication of your personal information.

The information you provide will be used only to communicate with you regarding arrangements for the conference. Your data will be held securely and (unless you are a speaker) the personal information will be deleted after the event. Anonymous data on universities participating in the event will be retained. Names and universities of speakers and titles and abstracts of talks will be published on this website, and will be retained as a permanent record of the event unless you ask for removal of your details.
