Thanks to the generosity of GCHQ, two prizes were offered to presenters at TMT 2025: the GCHQ Prize for the Best Presentation and the GCHQ Popular Vote Prize (assessed by a poll of conference attendees).
The GCHQ Prize for the Best Presentation is awarded jointly to
Anya Khurana of Cambridge University, for the paper Lattices and Sums of Squares;
Thomas Shaw of Durham University, for the paper Differential Equations in Mathematical Biology.
The GCHQ Popular Vote Prize is awarded jointly to
Sarbajit Ghosh, Birkbeck University of London, for the paper Cylindric Set Algebras and Robbins Problem
Tsz Hong Ip, University of Nottingham, for the paper Between Addition, Multiplication and Beyond: Hyperoperations of Non-integral Ranks
