本論壇以「後成長與豐足社會」、「消費的不平等」與「生活的基礎設施」三個面向出發，重新思考「更多」是否真的代表更好的生活、不同群體擁有的選擇與資源如何分配，以及交通、能源等基礎設施如何形塑我們習以為常的生活方式。
The forum explores three interconnected themes: postgrowth and sufficiency, inequalities in consumption, and the infrastructures of everyday life. It asks whether having “more” necessarily means living better, how access to choices and resources is distributed across different groups, and how infrastructures such as transportation and energy shape the ways of life we often take for granted.

Happy to share that my research on Taiwan Homemakers Union Consumers Co-op has now been published in the special issue “Pushing Forward the Cooperative Movement: Managing New Global and Specific Challenges.” Last year, I wrote about the International Cooperative Alliance’s 2025 global conference from a Taiwan perspective; this time, the Taiwan case travels in the other direction, entering an international conversation about the future and transformation of the cooperative movement. REVESCO is one of the leading international journals in the field of SSE and is published as an open access journal. download here

我的 RN05 之旅始於 2011 年在日內瓦舉行的歐洲社會學會雙年會。那是我第一次參加 ESA，也是在那次會議的研究網絡聚餐中，第一次真正進入這個學術社群。之後，從哥本哈根、雅典、曼城到波多，我逐漸在這個網絡中建立了許多珍貴的學術與友誼連結。十五年後，能夠以理事的身分回到這個社群、參與它的未來發展，對我而言是一件很特別的事。也提醒我：學術社群往往就是從一次有點尷尬的聚餐、一場不太完美的報告，以及一次又一次地回來參與開始的。期待接下來能為 RN05 貢獻自己的力量。
My journey with RN05 began in 2011 at the ESA conference in Geneva. Since then, I have attended meetings in Copenhagen, Athens, Manchester, and Porto, building lasting academic connections and friendships along the way. Fifteen years later, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this community in a new capacity and look forward to working with RN05 in the years ahead.

很開心和主婦聯盟消費合作社、台灣社會與團結經濟學會一起到首爾參訪南韓的合作社發展。
這個考察團是我看過最厲害的，短短幾天有中央機構（社會企業振興院）、地方政府（光明市社會經濟中心），不同類型的合作社（醫療社福、消費、健康生活）、不同學會（社會與團結經濟學會年會、合作社學會研討會）、聖公會大學和合作社的夢想園區。我們用分工的方式，有人錄音、有人口譯、有人翻譯簡報、及時查找補充資料、分配提問、負責不同主題。原來參訪可以「特種作戰」這就是學術這行最迷人之處，旅遊，不是出去玩，是認識不同的社會和相同的人。
I'm excited to be in Seoul with the Homemakers United Consumers Co-op and the Taiwan Society for Social and Solidarity Economy to learn about the development of cooperatives in South Korea.
This is by far the most impressive study tour I've ever joined. In just a few days, we've visited national institutions (the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency), local government (the Gwangmyeong Social Economy Center), different types of cooperatives (healthcare, social welfare, consumer, and healthy living), academic communities (the annual conference of the Korean Society for Social and Solidarity Economy and the Korean Academic Society of Cooperatives), as well as Sungkonghoe University and the Cooperative Dream Park.
What has impressed me most is how our group works together. We divide responsibilities: some record every session, some provide interpretation, others translate presentation slides, look up background information in real time, coordinate questions, or focus on specific themes. I never imagined that a study tour could be conducted like a special operations mission.
Perhaps that's what makes academia so fascinating. Travel is not simply about sightseeing. It's about understanding different societies and meeting people who share the same commitment to building a better one.

對我來說這是一個新的研究階段，把研究個案轉成教學個案。之前我研究消費合作社的循環經濟的合作行動時想的是理論創新和國際學界的對話，接下來想嘗試和學生的對話，用這個個案發展社會科學的個案教學。
八月我會和合作的夥伴討論「社會與團結經濟怎麼教？」，分享這個計畫的概念和設計，感謝主婦聯盟消費合作社夥伴的支持！

This is my first time writing an entry for encyclopedia, and I've found it to be a very concise literature review. I'm writing on the topic of "restaurants" and also included research on Taiwanese restaurants.

很榮幸獲得聯合國社會團結經濟工作組，以波多黎各女權和經濟改革倡議者Anna Maria O’Neil為名的最佳論文獎。台灣不是聯合國會員，但是台灣的組織行動和研究可以得到聯合國研究單位的認可，而在國際合作社年拿到這個獎，這對我意義非凡。特別感謝主婦聯盟消費合作社的合作。
I am honored to receive the best paper award from the United Nations Task Force on Social Solidarity Economy, named after Anna Maria O’Neil, a Puerto Rican feminist and economic reform advocate. Taiwan is not a member of the United Nations, but Taiwan’s organizational actions and research can be recognized by the United Nations research unit. Moreover, receiving this award in the International Year of Cooperatives very meaningful to me. Special thanks to the cooperation of the Homemakers’ Union Consumer Cooperative.

榮幸受邀參加103屆合作事業研討會，發表「制定一個循環經濟：合作社的永續消費行動」，我分享主婦聯盟消費合作社如何透過一連串專案，從永續消費實踐，逐步建構一個從回收、收集、運輸到再製造的循環經濟。更可貴的是，這個案例讓我和看到合作社如何成為公民行動實驗室（citizen action lab)，讓合作社內部辯論，並和市場行動者、研究機構和政府官員合作，在經濟模式上也在政策上「做實驗」。這個研究成果馬上就要到國際合作社聯盟的年會發表，在聯合國合作社年分享台灣經驗！
I was honored to be invited to participate in the 113rd Developement of Cooperatives Seminar and gave a speech on "Developing a Circular Economy: Sustainable Consumption Actions of Cooperatives". I shared how Taiwan Homemakers United Consumers Co-op has gradually built a circular economy from sustainable consumption practices, recycling, collection, transportation to remanufacturing through a series of projects.
More importantly, this case allowed me to see how cooperatives can become citizen action labs, allowing cooperatives to debate internally and collaborate with market actors, research institutions and government to "do experiments " in economic models and policies.
This research result will soon be published at the annual meeting of the International Cooperative Alliance, sharing Taiwan's experience in the United Nations Cooperative Year!

這次我和學生一起到新加坡國立大學的亞洲研究，我有一場主持，一場報告，學生第一次用英文發表蚵仔的研究，緊張但是很順利的完成哦。這次見了老朋友、認識新朋友，一起吃美食，聊學術也聊生活。
This time I went to the Asian Research Institute of National University of Singapore with my student. I hosted a panel and gave a presentation. My student present his study of oyster in English for the first time. He was nervous but completed smoothly. This time I also met old friends, made new friends, enjoied delicious food together, and had a talk about academic and life.

即使喉嚨沙啞，我仍然早上衝過群山，直奔埔里藍城，聽了橫跨越南、泰國、加拿大和埔里的故事。怎麼繞都繞回「家」。第一次幾乎沒聲音作訪談，一次兩人。受訪的老師說「你們做研究不錯欸，可以到處聽各種故事」。
Even though my sound was hoarse, I still rushed through the mountains in the morning and went straight to Lancheng, Puli, to listen the stories across Vietnam, Thailand, Canada and Puli. First time having interview with two people once a time but without voice. The interviewee said "Doing research sounds like a great thing because you can listen very kinds of stories".

在歐洲社會學年會，同場發表有一篇跟我題目很像，研究義大利的家屋，做得比我好很多。作者來信邀我加入《義大利社會學評論》學術委員會。
我發現義大利也是由國家機構作期刊評比，作為升等和博士班設立的指標，主要也是評人文社會領域。所以這本可以說是issci哈哈。
In ESA conference, a presentation of home of Italy was simalar to mine, but better. The speaker mail me an invitation to join Scientific Committee of Italian Sociological Review.
I found the ranking of journals of Humanities and Social Sciences, as the standard of faculty promotion and doctoral program establishment, was run by national academy in Italy. So this journal is "ISSCI", like "TSSCI".

睽違多年，再度參加歐洲社會學年會。我發表了新研究assembling a new home的初步發現，和新朋友一起吃晚宴。此外，我找期刊和出版社討論可能的出版方向，並且在論壇和會員大會和老朋友打招呼。
After many years, I once again participated in the Conference of European Sociological Association. I published the preliminary findings of new research, Assembling a new home, and dinner with new friends. In addition, I discussed possible publishing directions with journal committee member and publisher, and greeted old friends at forums and membership meeting.

這次我受邀到宗教博物館舉辦的第18屆「回佛對談」，和媒體人、實踐者和道士討論「與自然共存的生活方式」。我很好奇宗教團體會怎麼看待永續消費。第一次到宗教博物館，發現是個有趣的地方。
This time, I was invited to the 18th "Dialogue with the Buddha" hosted by the Museum of World Religions, where I discussed "Ways of Living in Harmony with Nature" with media professionals, practitioners, and Taoist priests. I'm curious about how religious groups view sustainable consumption. It was my first time visiting the Museum of World Religions, and I found it to be an interesting place.

My student's College Student Research Scholarship has been approved!

很開心指導的學生通過大專生研究計畫，昀庭將要研究女廚師喔！計畫探討不同類型的餐廳、器械使用如何建構不同的「好廚師」、又如何影響廚師工作的性別化。
預算還比人家多五千五喔。這政策其實不只讓大學生學著寫正式的計畫，也讓他們感受焦慮、煎熬，通過的驚喜、不通過的失望，人生啊~
I’m so happy that my student's College Student Research Scholarship has been approved! Yun-Ting will be researching female chefs. The project explores how different types of restaurants and equipment shape the concept of a “good chef” and how it affects the gendering of chefs' work.
The budget is even 5,500 TWD more than others. This policy not only teaches college students how to write formal proposals but also allows them to experience anxiety, struggle, the joy of approval, and the disappointment of rejection—C'est la vie!

MOST Research Project of water consumption has been approved!

三年前的「百年大旱」每天看鯉魚潭水位和降雨量，當時台中市自來水「供五停二」，我還特地買了水桶儲水。這讓我想起小時候住在管線末端，少年時期住在沒有自來水的山區生活，因此去年就把這樣的經驗寫成了研究計畫。很開心一次通過三年期的計畫喔！本計畫將研究日常用水、基礎設施和自然環境，三者間的互動。
Three years ago, during the “century drought,” I would check the water level of Liyutan Reservoir and rainfall every day. At that time, the water supply of Taichung City followed a "five days on, two days off" schedule, and I even bought water barrels to store water. This reminded me of my childhood, living at the end of the water pipeline, and later, as a teenager, living in a mountain area without tap water. Because of this, I wrote a research proposal last year based on these experiences. I’m thrilled that the three-year project got approved in one go! This project will explore the interaction between daily water use, infrastructure, and the natural environment.
