Tutoring Info

IHS National Honor Society sponsors a peer tutoring program that provides opportunities for you to serve the student community at IHS. Sessions are usually after school in the Commons and due to this year's high demand, are sometimes in groups. We try to match those that request tutors with tutors who are able to tutor all the subjects a student needs, however, that may not always be a possibility. 

Notes for all tutors: 

NHS tutoring hours count as sponsored hours and will be worth 1.5x the amount of time you tutor for. Please sign up as it's a great way to serve the IHS community and work towards completing your semester requirement for service hours! Remember to fill out your volunteering log so they can be counted.

Tutoring sessions during Nest are only possible on days designated as "choice" days. The monthly Nest schedule can be found on the IHS website under "Our School" and "Nest Schedules". You will need to communicate with the student you are matched with to decide if you would like to meet during a Nest period.
