MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS 25-26

1. Must have 20 hours of community service per semester 

• 4 of these hours must be sponsored by NHS for both semesters

• Each NHS hour is equal to 1 volunteer hour 

• You may include up to 5 hours from summer (for first semester)

2. Must maintain a 3.5 GPA 

3. Can only miss up to 1 mandatory meeting per year 

• After missing first meeting, you will receive a warning email. 

• After that, you will have to make up additional service hours (2 per missed meeting).

• If you are absent that day, or have another excused absence, email us at ihsnhs18@gmail.com and we will coordinate with you.
