Friday, 5/3: Today, we continued our reading / performing of Act I, Scenes 1-3.

Thursday, 5/2: Today, we began reading / performing Act I, Scene I of Romeo and Juliet. Students volunteered for roles, and helped participate in a class reading / performance of the opening scene. We also finished our translation of the Practice Annotation (Prologue - see: Resources / Texts). Finally, we defined each of the literary devices, creating a word bank for future reference.
Wednesday, 5/1: Today, we added the Dramatis Personae (Resources), color-coding for family (Montague, Capulet, and Independent). We began practicing translating the lines of an individual passage (Prologue), using the left-side annotation guide (Folger's play copy).
Tuesday, 4/30: Today, we set up our notebook for Romeo and Juliet:
