Vision & Mission of IGCS

The vision of IGCS is to be the worldwide group for promoting automatic control systems internationally.

IGCS Mission

The mission of IGCS is to promote automatic control systems through technical meetings, publications, workshops, webinars, online courses, etc. We have developed a network of laboratories to support undergraduate and graduate education in Control Systems Technology in different fields such as:

  • Linear control and nonlinear control

  • Adaptive control

  • Optimal Control

  • Robust control

  • Fault-tolerant control

  • Chaos Control and Synchronization

  • Sliding Mode control

  • Intelligent Control

  • Robotic Control

IGCS Goals and Objectives

  • Help to create an environment within which the automatic control community can exchange ideas in research.

  • Organize and sponsor high-quality technical meetings each year which are of interest to the members and reflect applications and technical advancement in the area of control systems.

  • Become a well known and trusted source of publications on automatic control systems.

  • Publicize the automatic control systems knowledge to students, researchers and engineers through promoting and sponsoring scientific activities in the area of control.

  • Organize workshops, conferences, seminars, webinars, invited talks, summer schools and competitions to raise the awareness of control systems and to attract new researchers and engineers to this important field.

  • Publicize the applications of control systems to different areas of industrial and commercial needs.
