Lambda Chi Alpha was founded almost 120 years ago at Boston university on Nov. 2, 1909 and has been going strong ever since with 195 chapters and over 300,000 active members and alumni. The Pi-Zeta chapter was founded as a colony at Elmhurst, Nov 1 2002, and officially chartered at 6:30PM, March 11 2005. Here in Lambda Chi we fellow this acronym, LDRSHIP, which stands for Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Service/Stewardship, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. Our goal is to guide men to lead fulfilling and moral lives. This brotherhood is one that will last a life time.
For philanthropy, we as an international fraternity are partnered with Feeding America, and have collected over 10 million pounds of food across our chapters. Our chapter has contributed to this food drive annually through our food drives and other philanthropy events such as Pumpkin Bash amongst other philanthropic events. We have been recognized for excellence in philanthropy (general) and for pounds of food collected.
