Group Overview
Our research group develops AI-driven approaches for understanding, predicting, optimizing, and controlling complex environmental process systems. By integrating artificial intelligence with process knowledge and environmental, chemical, and biological principles, we aim to build intelligent, reliable, and sustainable systems for environmental and process engineering.
Our specific research interests include:
Developing AI-based solutions for complex decision-making, optimization, and control problems in environmental and chemical engineering and related domains.
Advancing and applying sota machine learning algorithms to modeling, prediction, optimization, and control of environmental process systems.
Developing mechanistic and data-driven models to understand and interpret environmental, chemical, and biological processes, with particular emphasis on physics-informed AI.
Developing reliable and interpretable decision-support and autonomous operation frameworks for process systems engineering and environmental systems by integrating emerging AI paradigms, advanced algorithms, and process knowledge.
