Ukraine support

We provide job support to Ukrainians who lost their jobs due to the invasion of Russia

As a bridge between Ukraine and member companies, we introduce engineers and provide support from job requests to payments

As of November 2022, a United Nations study found that more than 15 million Ukrainians have been forced from their homes, unemployed and displaced both inside and outside the country

On the other hand, men aged 18 to 60 cannot, in principle, leave the country due to conscription

There are many people who say that their wives and daughters cannot leave their fathers and husbands alone and evacuate abroad

ReportOn October 4, 2023, Ms. Krystyna, Ms. Susanna, and Ms. Hanna came to Japan. At this time, members of our association, Mr. Ono from the NPO Beautiful World, Mr. Yamaguchi from Beppu City Hall, Mr. Oleksandr and Ms. Olena, evacuees from Ukraine, and Ms. Otsu, a Kyushu University student, 16 people in total gathered.

Opinions were exchanged regarding our association's initiatives and future projects. They then shared information on the current situation in Ukraine, collaboration and support status with the country, local governments, organizations, and companies, and case studies. We will listen to information and issues from everyone, and work together to advance support activities through the Ukraine contact point.

・At a time when Japan's working population is decreasing, treating Ukrainians as a "human investment" and including them will lead to increased corporate value

・Providing work benefits both parties. At the same time, it also helps solve human rights issues

・Although Ukrainians are highly educated and have a higher education level than the EU average, because they are refugees, they are unable to utilize their high skills and experience and are unable to find jobs that match their abilities

・Giving opportunities for success and matching can be beneficial for Japanese companies as the workforce continues to decline

・As the debate on "business and human rights" progresses, companies will be required to provide jobs to Ukraine and hire displaced people

As the war drags on, it is difficult to continue making donations, and business development is needed. We believe this is an opportunity to fill the shortage of human resources in Japan with human resources from Ukraine. We hope that our association's activities will be viewed as a long-term business opportunity.
