What We Learned

Yeshua A. I learned that animal cruelty is bad and we need to take care of them by no longer taking away their homes. I learned how to be a good citizen.

Laurel K. I have learned so much at iEngage, and have thought more about problems happing in our community. I have learned about how the environment is decreasing rapidly and won't stop until we help.

Payton H. I have learned how to advocate for issues I believe need to be resolved and how to be active in my community. I have also learned how to be a good citizen and protect animal habitats.

Sophia G. I learned many interesting things. For example, I did not know what suburban development was until we chose it as our topic.

Miles H. I have learned many things. One thing I have learned is how to advocate for my community. Also I have learned that we have to work together in a community to solve issues. Finally I have learned that we to save trees and animals before it is to late. 

Lilly A. Here at camp, I've learned a lot about the problems that happen in our community. I have also learned about what we can do to preserve our natural resources and our wildlife.

Apollonia V. I have learned about suburban development. I am excited to make progress toward increasing wildlife protection. I have also learned how to research issues I am passionate about. 

Holland S. I have learned about the importance of advocating for issues in your community. I now know how to use the advocacy hourglass to investigate community issues. I hope to investigate more community issues throughout the year.
