Glimpses of the Faculty Development Program organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

On 6th February,2018 the faculty members were addressed by Dr. Subir Kumar Sarkar, Professor of Jadavpur University. Prof. Sarkar delivered a talk on Role of university- Industry Collaboration for the Development the Society. He also talked about global scenario on this topic and present activates.

On 7th February,2018 the faculty members were addressed by Dr. Chandana Bhattacharya, Scientific Officer,  Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre. Prof. Bhattacharya delivered a talk on Experimental nuclear physics facility and recent research activates. Prof. Bhattacharya also talked about present research activates on nuclear physics.

On 8th February,2018 the faculty members were addressed by Dr. Monojit Mitra Professor and Head, Electronics & Tele Communications, IIEST, Shibpur. Prof. Mitra delivered a talk on Hazards of EM Radiation. He also talked about bad effect due to mobile phone radiation.

On 9th February,2018 the audience was addressed by Prof. Satyaranjan Bhattacharyya Senior Prof. & Head Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. He delivered a talk on Nuclear reactions around and below the Coulomb barrier involving unstable beams. Prof. Bhattacharyya also gave an in dept concept on the topic.

On 10th February,2018 Dr. Nilratan Bandyopadhyay Professor & Head, IIEST, Shibpur addressed the faculty members and delivered a talk on Nano-materials. Prof. Nilratan  Bandyopadhyay  also gave idea on recent trends on nano material research activates.

After every session, there was a questionnaire followed by high tea.
