MARCO BARBIERI

Marco works at Università Roma Tre on quantum photonics. His interests cover foundations, metrology and sensing, and communications.

NEDA GHOFRANIHA

Neda is a researcher in the field of random photonics and microlasers. She has consolidated experience in the fabrication and characterization of Random lasers and, in the last years, with her colleagues, has been developing and studying Whispering Gallery microlasers for sensing and fundamental physics.

SILVIA GENTILINI

Silvia's scientific interest lies in experiments and simulations in the field of photonics and optics within complex systems. Currently, she is engaged in research activities aimed at developing innovative photonic solutions in the fields of bio-sensing and combinatorial optimization problems.

ROMOLO SAVO

Romolo is a staff researcher of the Computational Photonics laboratory at the CREF and research associate at the Institute of Complex Systems ISC-CNR in Rome. His research activity concerns complex photonic materials characterized by disorder, scattering and nonlinearity.

FABIO SCARRINO

In recent years Fabio's research activity has focused on the implementation of quantum information protocols via integrated photonic circuits, with particular interest for Boson Sampling, a non-universal computational model with promising characteristics to achieve the quantum supremacy regime.

EUGENIO FAZIO

Eugenio is an expert in linear and nonlinear optics from the macro- to the micro- and nano-scale. He is involved in two main lines of research: intelligent optical systems based on light scattering for the recognition and classification of biological micro- and nano-organisms; photonic systems capable of autonomously learning information and possibly using it for recognition and reasoning.
