In this section, we go over some examples of cool ideas that were steadily made into actual products by following the design process...sort of. (Currently, all of these ideas are just mine, however you can add your own ideas by filling a specific form, which can join the ideaNexus Gallery, and maybe be inducted into the ideaNexus Hall of Fame. Maybe you can get inspiration from these ideas too

In version two of the Baker's tool, I decided to just totally optimize everything. Starting by 3D printing some parts like the base and top platform, as well as increasing the size of the base from 10x10 to 15x15 cm, as well as making the rest out of actual construction materials like wood and metal, to make it look more professional, rather than a kindergartner's project

This was a rushed project for father's day, and also a cool invention I thought would be useful for myself as well, so here it is. This is a Multi-Tool for Inventors, which basically is a portable mini workstation for inventors. It consists of a box with a hand-crank roll of either lined paper, blank white paper, or tearaway post-it notes, as well as a compartment you can store these notes for later, open the note-box, read old notes, and replace your roll of paper. You also have a little handy compartment behind the roll of note paper, where you can store pencils and pens, but really anything you like.

Honestly, I had to omit some of the features in this blueprint. See the hinge for one? I made the original prototype out of paper and cardstock, so really a hinge would be pretty flimsy.

This was a little something I created for a geography project on sustainable design.
"The product is a paint holder combined with water holders and different places to mix paints, as well as with a paintbrush cleaner, and paintbrush storer, as well as slots to put in paint canisters. Photographs of the completed product are in the next section. I think this is an innovative product idea, because not only does this product divert a considerable amount of plastic waste from landfills, but it also creates a product that technically either has not been invented yet, or isn't very popular. It's convenient to combine 3 things: a paint holder, with a brush holder and cleaner, as well as paint storage space. Not only saves your time having to buy not only one product, but three products, combined in one easy, accessible, convenient way. It is a lightweight product that can be carried with you, with a handle, and it does not take up much space. "
Basically its a cool invention made entirely out of what one might consider "waste". Its made of peanut butter containers, and lids, old drinkable yogourt bottles, an old coffee box, and some scrap wood. I had the idea to collect those annoying leftover bits of hot-glue and re-melt them to glue together the items. Therefore this item is 100% reused material.
