These Terms of Use govern your use of Warrantly, a mobile application provided by ideaforgelabs (“ideaforgelabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using Warrantly, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Warrantly.
Warrantly helps you store and organize product receipts, warranty records, invoices, service documents, and related information.
Warrantly is an organizational tool. It does not:
Issue or provide product warranties
Verify warranty coverage or eligibility
Verify purchase details or document authenticity
Submit warranty claims on your behalf
Guarantee that a manufacturer or retailer will accept a document
Provide legal, financial, insurance, or professional advice
Warranty coverage and claim decisions are determined by the relevant manufacturer, retailer, warranty provider, insurer, or service provider.
You may use Warrantly for lawful, personal, and legitimate purposes.
You are responsible for:
Entering accurate product and warranty information
Reviewing information recognized from imported documents
Verifying warranty dates and coverage terms
Maintaining the security of your device
Keeping a separate copy of important documents when necessary
Ensuring that you have the right to store and export any documents added to Warrantly
You must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to your use of Warrantly.
You retain ownership of the documents and information you add to Warrantly.
Using Warrantly does not transfer ownership of your content to ideaforgelabs.
Warrantly stores application information locally on your device. ideaforgelabs does not operate an application server that receives or stores your warranty records during normal use.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, security, and integrity of the information you add to the application.
Warrantly may use on-device optical character recognition to identify text from receipts, invoices, warranty documents, and other imported files.
Text-recognition results may be incomplete or inaccurate because of factors including:
Image quality
Lighting conditions
Document layout
Handwriting
Damaged documents
Unsupported formats
Unclear or partially visible text
You must review and correct recognized information before relying on or saving it.
ideaforgelabs does not guarantee the accuracy of text recognition or automatically extracted information.
Warranty dates, expiry calculations, and reminders provided by Warrantly are organizational aids only.
Calculations depend on the purchase date, warranty duration, and other information entered or confirmed by you. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in an incorrect warranty-expiry date.
Notification delivery may be affected by your device settings, notification permissions, battery-saving settings, focus modes, operating-system restrictions, or other factors outside the control of Warrantly.
You are responsible for confirming important warranty dates and claim deadlines directly with the relevant manufacturer, retailer, warranty provider, or service provider.
Warrantly must not be used as the only method of tracking a time-sensitive warranty or claim deadline.
Warrantly stores records and documents locally in application-private storage on your device.
ideaforgelabs does not provide an online storage, synchronization, or recovery service for Warrantly records.
Device loss, device damage, application deletion, operating-system changes, storage failure, or accidental deletion may result in permanent data loss.
Because ideaforgelabs does not retain an online copy of your records, we cannot recover information deleted from your device.
Warrantly may allow you to manually export your records and original documents as a ZIP file.
The exported ZIP file is not encrypted by Warrantly. You are responsible for:
Selecting a secure destination
Protecting the exported file
Preventing unauthorized access
Verifying that the export was successfully created
Retaining any copies you may need
Following the privacy and security terms of the destination service
If you send or save an export using another application or service, that third party’s terms and privacy policy apply.
Warrantly does not guarantee that an exported file can be restored if it has been modified, corrupted, deleted, created by an incompatible application version, or damaged by another application or service.
You must not:
Use Warrantly for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
Store content that you do not have the legal right to possess
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the application
Attempt to bypass security or access-control features
Reverse engineer or modify Warrantly except where applicable law expressly permits it
Use Warrantly to infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or legal rights
Distribute malicious files or use the application in a way that could damage a device or service
Warrantly, including its software, design, branding, interface, and original content, is owned by or licensed to ideaforgelabs and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms of Use, ideaforgelabs grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use Warrantly on a compatible device.
This licence does not give you ownership of Warrantly or permission to commercially redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create unauthorized derivative versions of the application.

These may include:
Camera and file-selection services

Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Text-recognition accuracy
