This session empowers educators and parents to better support students with dyslexia—from the first signs of struggle to confident self-advocacy. Participants will learn how to recognize early red flags, understand the components of a quality evaluation, and navigate the often confusing path to diagnosis and support. Beyond the paperwork, this session focuses on helping students understand their learning profiles and build the skills to speak up for themselves. Attendees will leave with practical tools to foster collaboration between families, schools, and students, and strategies to help learners become active participants in their own education. Because they don’t just need a plan—they need a voice.
