DepEd ALS LAC Resources: Mobile Technology for Teachers (MT4T) and Its Digital Citizenship Resources
This video intends to familiarize DepEd ALS trainers on a set of ALS Learning Action Cell (LAC) resources to support the efficient delivery of LAC sessions.
The LAC Resource Package on MT4T is a valuable tool that will help ALS teachers and learners to adapt to and maximize the many emerging opportunities of the digital world .

A two-part series of Learning Action Cell (LAC) session guides specifically designed for the DepEd Alternative Learning System (ALS) to aid ALS teachers as they teach digital citizenship to ALS learners.
SG 1: Enhancing Digital Citizenship through Mobile Technology for Teachers (MT4T)
Intends to introduce the MT4T resource kit and promote its use in amongst ALS teachers for teaching and learning and professional networking.

Intends to capacitate ALS teachers in contextualizing a specific set of MT4T teaching and learning resources on cyber wellness and digital citizenship to make them more relevant for various types of ALS learners.

Right Click is an innovative podcast series on digital citizenship and cyber wellness designed for the implementers of the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) Alternative Learning System. This podcast series is brought to you by the DepEd Alternative Learning System Taskforce supported by UNICEF Philippines and SEAMEO INNOTECH.
Through these interviews, topics such as online safety, responsible use of technology, and productive behavior in the cyber space were discussed in the context of ALS. Currently, “Right Click” has 4 episodes featuring the following education experts: (1) Mr. Firth McEachern, co-author of the MT4T e-Citizenship e-book, for the topic on “digital citizenship;” (2) Ms. Maria Melizza Tan, Adolescent Development Specialist of UNICEF Philippines, for the topic on “benefits provided by digital technology;” (3) Professor Queena Lee-Chua of the Ateneo de Manila University, for the topic on “digital risks and threats;” and (4) Mr. Ysrael Diloy, Senior Advocacy Officer of Stairway Foundation, for the topic on “how to remain safe on the Internet.”

Digital Citizenship
Share or Beware is a game all about deception and learning how to think more critically about the information that we come across. To educate the youth on digital citizenship and the responsible use of technology, Globe Telecom joined forces with Optus and Singtel in launching the Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP) in 2016. The program was eventually integrated by the Department of Education (DepEd) in the K-12 curriculum to bolster DepEd’s existing modules around digital literacy.
DTP is a series of workshops patterned after the Optus Digital Thumbprint in-school program in Australia. Each module aims to increase students’ knowledge of digital citizenship and cybersafety by taking a critical look at their online behavior and helping them develop insights into the influences of the online world and the choices they are making.
