Luís Barreto - Biography

Luís Barreto holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, a Master's degree in Computer Science and a degree in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering, both from the University of Porto. Since 2001, he has been teaching in several public and private higher education institutions in Portugal. He is a Coordinating Professor at the Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo (Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo) and the Dean of the Business Sciences Faculty. He has been the principal investigator of several R&D projects. He has published several articles on Industry 4.0, sustainability, network security, cybersecurity, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), sustainable mobility, wireless mobile health applications and lifelong learning.
