António Abreu - Biography

Before transitioning to the academic world, he had a successful industrial career in manufacturing industries, holding management positions. He holds a PhD and the Habilitation in Industrial Engineering.

He contributes to the academic community by being a member of several international associations, where he engages in knowledge-sharing and collaboration. As a researcher, he has been involved in various National and European research projects.

Furthermore, he is committed to academic excellence through his involvement in organizing and participating in the program committees of numerous national and international conferences. Additionally, he serves as a member of the review board and editorial board for several esteemed international journals.

He has more than 150 publications in books, journals, and conference proceedings, covering diverse areas such as logistics, project management, quality management, open-innovation, risk management, and lean management.
