7/25/2026- The team of Norb Huber, Cesar Lopez, Eric Kellenberger, and Walt Wismar were the winniers of the Whack N' Hack today. They finished one shot better than the grouping of Tony Clingman, Dan Pabalate, Ray Torres, and Mike Scott. We had two teams tie in third place with 9 under 119. Rob Coon, Stephen Hollabaugh, Gary Koch, and Jack Jessen were one of the teams. The other team was Pete Peterson, Chris Graham, Rick Walker, and Robert Blanche.

If you are wondering how Cesar Lopez and Dan Pabalate were put into these groups when they did not play with them. We had four threesomes playing today so, by random draw by my mom, she drew the card of Cesar, Dan, and Manny Pabalate. Cesar went into Norb's group, Dan into Tony's group, and Manny into my group. My group did not place so you can't accuse me of rigging this silly thing. I blame one of my playing partners for us not placing and his name rhymes with Cohn Jorbitt. (He wasn't actually, I was the anchor dragging our team to bottom of the ocean)

Match Play started up again. I spoke to two players who thought they got beat but it turns out they tied. Bill Danaher and Garry Dovenberg tied their match so they both advance. Same goes for Chris Graham and Pete Peterson. Bill and Chris thought they lost but a tie is the same as a win. Jeff Babski gets a free advance as he did not have an opponent today though one was planned. 

Our next tournament is the skins game. What that means is you will compete against members in your group. Each hole will be worth $1 except Holes 5 and 11 which will be worth $2. Skins carry over hole by hole. It's also the second round of match play for those who advanced. This tournament will take place on August 8 with our first tee time at 7:00. I'll see you then.
