10/10/2026- The team of Bill Danaher and Garry Dovenberg were the first place winners todays in the annual 6/6/6 tournament, an appropriate tournament for scary season. They finished slightly ahead of the team of Cesar Lopez and Francois Marcus who earned second place, slightly ahead of the duo of David Bridgeford and Greg Rose who scored third, slightly ahead of the pair of Mike Carruth and Larry Goodwin who earned fourth place, who finished slightly ahead of the quartet of Jeff Brunton/Nathan Johnson and Jason Powers/Aaron Knutson who shared fifth. I hope everyone had fun today. 

(The handicap formula was simple- I took 50% of the teams combined handicap off the total score).

The next tournament is a little more straight forward and is also our final trophy tournament of 2026. It's four ball. I don't know why it has that name because it's a two man team and you will each play your own ball like usual. The score that counts for your team is the one score that is the best net score of the two players. It's the same format as the first six holes played today. 

This event will take place on October 24 and it will be a 7:30 SHOTGUN start. We will also have our final men's club meeting of 2026 following the round. We will be nominating officers and discussing the banquet.
