Control Group has had online meetings a couple times between 2020 fall and summer 2021.
The next CG-meeting is on September the 6th at 10:00 GMT.

The whole ICLO group want's to thank our dear friend and one of the most important persons in our ICLO project William 'Bill' Griffiths for his most professional and supportive input in our project work.
We also want to wish Bill happy and well-earned retirement!

Every team has decided the date of the first online meeting. Four of the five teams have the meeting in October and one on the first of November. During the meeting teams go through the answers of the challenges in their schools and jobs, planned acts and results.

* Please check that you can edit on Google Sites https://sites.google.com/view/iclo
- If you need help don’t hesitate to contact Seppo (seppo.ryosa@outlook.com or phone +358405818587 for example WhatsApp).
* Make also sure you can use Adobe Connect. Seppo will help you if needed.
* The team work starts by answering questions 1, 2 and 3. The questions will be found on Google Sites on your team page 'Starting the team work'. The answers will be used for setting the group objectives during the project week in Rota.
- Write down the answers of the questions (1, 2 and 3) in Google Sites 'city boxes' by the 12th of October.
- Team leaders arrange an Adobe Connect meeting (=AC meeting) with their team members by the end of October. During the meeting the team goes through and discusses the given answers.
- By the 15th of November every partner city should have held a meeting in order to keep up what’s going on in all five teams (the use of AC is also possible).
Every teams' namelist is ready. We can start the project work!

Please choose as soon as possible the time (GMT=London time) for your personal (in bigger group) Adobe Connect guidance. Seppo invites you to the lesson = sends the Adobe Connect link to your email the day your lesson is. If you have a problem please phone Seppo +358405818587 (f.ex. WhatsApp-call)
Preparations before the lesson:
1. Write your name beside the best time for you and press PUBLISH! ASAP!!
There is going to be several persons at one lesson.
2. You need to be able to download this new program. Check this from your IT-specialist!
3. You should use the same computer (laptop) you use during the project.
4. The best working headset is USB-headset with microphone.
Guidance:
1. Seppo send you the invitation link to your 'normal' email.
2. Our guide "Miska" is from Ilona IT Company, Kuopio Finland
3. Guidance is in English (+ Finnish if needed)
4. Guidance lasts about 30 minutes

A. Our working platform is Google Drive (does not work in Explorer…)
1. Send at first Seppo (seppo.ryosa@outlook.com) your gmail address
- Seppo needs it to send you the link to Google Drive.
* You can edit and save material on this platform under your team’s link and in your city’s box.
* Save your material to the very top of your city-box and start with the date = older materials can be found lower. Don’t erase older savings!
* You can also save pictures and videos.
* REMEMBER TO PUBLISH before leaving the platform!
2. If you have problems, please don’t hesitate to contact Seppo.
* The most usual problems: 1. You use Explorer 2. Your computer opens with someone else's gmail-account.
B. You must also read and follow other teams’ materials from the beginning of the project!
C. Bulletin Board has OFTEN and ONLY IMPORTANT messages!
D. The public ICLO home page link is https://sites.google.com/view/iclo
E. The Finnish team leaders keep in contact with you through your ‘normal’ email - written on top of your team link.
F. Every now and then you also have online meetings using Adobe Connect. Remember to book the AC lesson from Bulletin Board.
G. Every teams’ project work starts with some homework.
H. Project week host (November 2018 Rota) gets an extra homework = Auditing Starting Query.
Plan for this coming school year
1. Project’s funding 2018 – 2021 is 125 000 euros total!
- Raisio will coordinate the project economy
- Funding covers project weeks (flight, land transportation and hotel, if only possible)
* funding covers six persons / partner group; Leicester - Rota max 575€/person, Finland - Rota max 760€/person
- More information for reservations is coming in August
2. Administrative costs
- 250€ / partner and 500€ / coordinator / month from the budget is reserved for the administrative costs
(=1250€/month) of the project.
3. ICLO Control group

4. ICLO-project work is divided in two main lines
a) Working in 5 teams towards reaching the objectives
This work goes through the whole 3 year project (also during the project weeks)
b) Auditing the project week hosting city (school)
5. Objectives of the project for autumn 2018
Finnish headmasters start as the objective group leaders
The first leader meeting is in Vaasa on the 30th and 31st of August.
Soon after the meeting the leaders send material to their English and Spanish group members for starting the objective work.
Partner group members prepare for instance to introduce the evaluation tools they are using concerning the objective they work during the project.
Objective groups’ work starts so that they have plans and material for Rota week ready and saved on the project’s Google Drive platform early November.
Antonio, Bill, Johanna and JP must confirm their group members’ and their email addresses to Seppo in August or in early September.
6. Program 2018 – 2019
The first project week in Rota from the 26th to 30th of November (Sunday the 25th and Saturday the 1st or Sunday the 2nd of December are the travel days)
The second project week is in Vaasa from the 11th to 15th of March 2019 (Sunday the 10th and Saturday the 16th or Sunday the 17th are the travel days)
Control group meets once a month through Adobe Connect
Control group meets in London or Leicester between the 23rd and the 26th of 2019 (Bett show at ExCeL London)
7. Other things…
We need to look for cheap flights and accommodation for the project weeks!
Project will use Adobe Connect for online meetings and Google Drive – platform for working and saving material.
Any partner city or any school from a partner city can send more people to join project weeks with its own funds.
