The ISI Kolkata campus stretches from the Dunlop intersection and extends nearly a kilometre south along Barrackpore Trunk Road. The campus is divided into three main areas:
The Academic Area: This central area houses the lecture halls and academic units. It also hosts the ICLA 2025 programmes, as well as pre-conference and tutorial sessions. The Academic Area is located in the middle sector of the campus map. There are two main entry points:
From Barrackpore Trunk Road (203): This is the primary entrance to the campus, where you will arrive if you disembark at the ISI Bus Stop.
From Gopal Lal Tagore Road: This gate, situated about 10 minutes on foot from the Dunlop intersection, provides access to the ISI campus from Gopal Lal Tagore Road. It's also closer to key venues like the PJA building and NAB-I.
CD Deshmukh Building: Located in the northernmost part of the campus, this area does not have an external entrance. Access is only through an underground passage (represented as a grey strip on the map) from the Academic Area. This sector houses the PGDBA hostels.
The Residential Area: This is the southernmost sector of the campus, designated for quarters, hostels, and the Guest House where some conference attendees are staying. Additionally, it includes a Medical Unit for any healthcare needs. The entry gate for this area is Gate 205, located on Barrackpore Trunk Road (shown on the map). This gate is the most convenient if you disembark at the Bonhooghly bus stop.
